Frenzied Fears

A fine frenzy of fears are rattling their way through my brain until I can't see through the crazy calamity. Anxiety and aggravation fly through my head, hands shake and I shiver. My fingers twitch wildly wanting and needing a pen in their grip and paper under wrist but my mind can't connect to my hands, and I can't will my lungs to work. So instead I'm stuck sitting silently fingers hovering over a keyboard and words won't spill onto the screen. So the anxiety rises again as writer's block beats through my brain.

Dear You-Should-Know-Who-You-Are, It is now 1:49 a.m. I woke up at the crack of dawn and spent my day walking toward something attainable, or maybe just walking (running) away from you. I guess it doesn't really matter in the end. But that's beside the point. The point is, I thought I'd get some sleep for a change. I thought I'd go to bed early and enjoy the sun and sand tomorrow. Clearly that was too much to ask. But seeing as I'm a glutton for punishment, mother always did call me a masochist, I wanted to talk to you tonight. That was stupid move number one. Or actually number two. I suppose falling for you was my first and dumbest move.

She's skin and bones with sunken eyes and protruding ribs. I can see each bone pressing against her skin. She's light as a feather but has convinced herself that she's something grotesque. And while you or I look at her and see how the frail joints and weak muscles are barely holding her together, she looks in the mirror and all she can see is flaws and fat. She's only happy when she can trail her fingers down her side counting her piano key ribs with a glimmer in her eye. All she wants to do is disappear and she's doing it one pound at a time. Hey guys- I'll publish another journal later tonight with updates and features and the like, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I'll be doing some very slight edits to my dA gallery. Why am I telling you this? I know that most of you probably really don't care, but since dA switched to the new version, it doesn't have that little box that says 'minor edit, don't inform watchers of it' anymore. As a result, I don't know how to edit deviations without spamming you guys (I don't even know if it will necessarily inform you of the edits). Hey guys- I know, I know. It's been forever since I've posted an actual journal and even longer since I've submitted anything new. After finally catching up on here again (which I have to say, took forever!) I'm happy to say that I am in fact back. For good. I promise. Really.
